About the Owner, Amber Brophy Mock
Amber Brophy-Mock has been a licensed Esthetician in Alaska for 9 years with experience in makeup and the spa industry for more than a decade, she is also a licensed Esthetic Instructor and a state trainer for a volunteer program within the American Cancer Society.
While living in California, Amber worked as an educator for one of the most advanced Cosmeceutical companies in the world. While freelancing and educating, she gained a love for ingredient knowledge and was taught in particular about the good vs. bad within cosmetics.
Amber started C.O.R Cosmetics in 2006 with the intention of creating a line and working with manufacturers who's main focus was using ingredients that won't harm your skin yet will also look fantastic in photography. Amber takes pride in traveling between cities to meet and train with others in the industry and strives to keep up to date on the latest and greatest in Esthetics and Make-up.
"I myself was a 2009 Bride and know the excitement yet the stresses we all endure. I absolutely LOVE being a part of a Bride's day! Although I enjoy doing make-up for anything and everything, I would have to say being with a Bride on their day is something I truly cherish and is the BEST part of my job!"
